Choosing a Cover
This last week has been a busy one for me. The publisher has been working on trying to create an image on paper that in a snapshot gives “How To Teach Your Kids To Swear” the look that best reflects it. This sounds easy enough, in reality though we have gone through many pictures and a lot of brainstorming – tossing ideas in and then tossing some of them right back out. We just couldn’t seem to get the one that finally popped.
For those of you who have been following my blog, my last entry was about the Centerpiece that my daughter had created. She is an incredibly gifted artist. To make a long story short everyone had been commenting on how amazing her work was, so I asked her if she could create a cover for the book. I’m happy to say that she was up to the challenge. She worked her magic and made us the perfect picture for the book. I can’t wait to share it with everyone hopefully later this week and once the cover is done the book is ready to be sold in Ebook format (print copies take a bit longer) so hopefully we (and you) will be seeing it in the coming days.
Just wanted to share a bit of the progress & say a big thanks to A who is so awesome!!!
Last but not least for all my Canadian family, friends & fans – Have a very Happy Thanksgiving
That’s fabulous! It’s exciting when everything begins to come together and THE BOOK NOOK does a fabulous job of making dreams come true. Congratulations Kim!
