I’m a bit behind on my update for our Black Friday haunted weekend but here is a start…
This year we went to the Haunted Jailers Inn, Bardstown, Kentucky. It is an old jail that they stopped using in the ’80s. Very old & lots of executions. Parts of the jail have been upgraded and converted into a bed & breakfast. Out of all the haunted locations I have stayed in, this one was really the loveliest. It had a clean, rustic hometown feel to it…except for the ghosts.
As far as haunted experiences went, I was touched twice in my room and the people in our group caught a couple of orb type photos. Overall it was not too scary and quite lovely for a weekend away. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to possibly have a mild haunted house experience and enjoy staying in a richly historical site – maybe a good place for a first timer!
P.S. Bardstown, Kentucky is adorable!
